Empowering Kids to be Leaders with Empathy
The DAREarts Atlantic Program began in 2011 when invited to address a critical need in Shubenacadie, Nova Scotia. Supported by The McCain Foundation, Northbridge Insurance, Scotiabank and RBC Foundation, an expanded Atlantic program is using the arts to engage both Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal students in building bridges that address cultural and social issues and impact us all. Click here for your invitation to the Showcase on October 28th, 2015.
The Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada’s report recommends that we educate all children about Canada and Aboriginal history. If you are interested in this opportunity, please contact: Trish Gibbon, DAREarts Atlantic Coordinator and Lead Teacher at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 902-430-4601 / 1-888-540-2787.
