The Herman Smith Music Trust was established to honour the late Mr. Herman Smith, a patron of DAREArts Foundation for Children. Its purpose is to provide music lessons for children who would not otherwise have the opportunity. In 2002, the program began providing piano lessons for inner city kids and has since grown to include violin lessons on instruments generously donated by Remenyi House of Music and the Kwan family.
