The DAREarts Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Jennifer Wilson as Executive Director.
Jennifer comes to DAREarts with 15 year’s experience in the non-profit sector. She has committed her career to organizations that support marginalized communities, specifically focusing on youth leadership, low-income supports, developmental services, education, and inclusive recreation.
Jennifer has worked in Executive Director and Director capacities. Under her leadership, organizations have significantly grown funding and programs, in addition to securing a four-star Charity Intelligence rating. She is a dynamic leader that develops strategic connections across departments, and mobilizes teams to align with high impact goals.
Deeply passionate about leadership development for children and youth facing barriers, Jennifer spent much of her own adolescence in leadership development programs and exploring the arts.
DAREarts has a 23-year history of empowering young leaders in underserved communities through the power of the arts. Our future vision is rooted in further developing continuity of service and comprehensive supports in order to grow our programs and identify the ways that we can continue to strengthen our outcomes, building young people who overcome barriers, thrive, and become the leaders of tomorrow.
DAREarts thanks Founder, Marilyn Field, for her 23 years of service. The strength of her vision and tireless efforts to build a transformative program has made it possible for the organization to continue its journey impacting thousands of young lives.
